Vivo today silently announced two new phones, namely vivo S9 The vivo S9e is today in China. The former comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor that comes with a 6nm manufacturing accuracy while the latter comes with the Dimensity 820. Performance is not the only distinguishing feature of the new Vivo phones because both phones have beautiful cameras as well.

The new phone comes with a 6.44-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sensitivity. We also have HDR10+ video playback support.
The phone works on the new Dimensity 1100 processor, whose performance test results indicate that it is a powerful and pioneering processor, and the phone also comes with 8 or 12 GB RAM options, along with 128 or 256 GB internal storage space of the UFS 3.1 model. There is no support for expanding the internal storage space by installing an external memory card.
The phone comes with a triple rear camera consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with OIS optical stabilization, and we also have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The phone comes with a dual front camera consisting of a 44-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. There are also two dimmers to provide the illumination needed when taking selfies in low-light conditions.
As expected from Vivo, there are some interesting camera features that come with the phone. There is AI Brightness and Noise Reduction feature which helps to brighten and enhance facial features in low light conditions.
There's also a 5x 3D Super Beautify mode that adds 3D face recognition, contouring, and a handful of other enhancements for selfies. Vivo S9 also has a VLOG mode for shooting videos.
Vivo says that the new phone has an ultra-thin VC cooling pad which is 12.5% thinner than a traditional cooling pad. It also covers 30% more cooling area (136% total) than the previous generation.
The phone works on a 4000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone has NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support and we also have a fingerprint sensor under the screen. The phone runs on the OriginOS 1.0 user interface based on pre-installed Android 11.

vivo S9e It is more like the lite version of the basic phone as it comes with some compromises in certain aspects of the phone. The phone comes with an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a touch sensitivity of 180 Hz, and HDR10.
The phone works on the Dimensity 820 processor, which is associated with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage. The phone comes with a 64MP main rear camera but no OIS. The other two cameras are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is one front sensor for taking selfies and it comes with a 32MP resolution.
The phone works on a 4100 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, and we have the same software found in the other phone.
The prices of the two phones
The price of the Vivo S9 is approximately $ 463 for the basic version, which consists of 8 + 128 GB, while the price has been set at $ 510 for the higher version 12 + 256 GB, the pre-order stage for purchasing the phone has been opened today and it will be officially launched in retail stores on December 12. March.
Vivo has set a price of $ 371 for the S9e for the 8 + 128 GB version, while the 8 + 256 GB version will be sold for $ 417. Pre-orders will start later on March 22, after which the phone will go on sale on March 27.
