Realme announces 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus in the mid-range

Realme has been one of the few companies that constantly compete with Xiaomi's Redmi Note series in terms of value for money. More specifically, its numbered series phones offered fair specs for the price.

The company released the Realme 8 series early last year but had to delay the Realme 9 series until the beginning of 2022. Fortunately, today Realme announced two new phones which are Realme 9 Pro andPro Plus.

Realme 9 Pro Plus Specs

The phone comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen that supports FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The device works on a Dimensity 920 processor, which is based on 6 or 8 GB of RAM, along with an internal storage capacity of 128 or 256 GB.

Moving on to the camera specifications, Realme 9 Pro Plus offers a triple rear camera that consists of a 50MP primary sensor IMX766 with OIS (the same main sensor we saw in Oppo Find X3 Pro), a 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The rest of the phone specifications are a 4500 mAh battery, 60W fast charging, support for installing two SIM cards, 5G support, a fingerprint sensor under the display, stereo speakers.

Realme 9 Pro Specs

If you are thinking of buying a good Realme phone at an affordable price, Realme 9 Pro should be your primary choice. The phone had to give up some of the specifications in the Pro Plus version in order for the pricing to be good.

The phone comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display that supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone works on a Snapdragon 695 processor along with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by installing an external memory card.

There is a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, we have a triple rear camera as well consisting of sensors: 64 + 8 + 2 MP. The software is the same on both phones: Android 11 operating system, Realme UI 3.0 user interface.

New Realme phones price

The Chinese brand has confirmed that Realme 9 Pro Plus will have a starting price of 379 dollars for 6/128 GB model. Meanwhile, the price of Realme 9 Pro will start from 319 dollars for the 6 / 128 GB variant.

The phones will be officially launched in India first after a few days and there is no news at the moment about the possibility of launching the phones in the global markets.
