Huawei is expected to unveil a new phone in China a week from now, which is Huawei P50 Pocket. This is the first device from the Chinese brand to arrive with a foldable clamshell-shaped screen.
Huawei has not yet shared any official reports on the phone's specifications. However, some of the specifications of the P50 Pocket have been reported by several sources. Here's everything that is known about the company's first foldable clamshell-shaped phone with a foldable screen.
Huawei P50 Pocket Specs
Huawei P50 Pocket is expected to come with a 6.85-inch foldable AMOLED display which will be larger than its counterpart in Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, that features a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display.
The same source added that the P50 Pocket will come powered by a 1-inch round-shaped external case display which will be located under the phone's rear camera module.
As for the specifications of that camera, we are expected to have a 50MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 13MP telephoto sensor that will support optical zoom up to x3.
There is no confirmed information about the battery capacity, but we expect it to be no less than 4500 mAh, and it will also support 66W fast charging and will arrive in a color other than gold, which is blue.
Will Huawei put this phone at a lower price than the Galaxy Z Flip 3? There is a great possibility that Huawei will do so given that the Samsung phone was launched at a price of $1,000. All this information has not yet been confirmed by Huawei, so we recommend taking it with a little seriousness until Huawei officially unveils the phone on December 23.
