In August, Xiaomi is expected to announce multiple products, such as Redmi Pad 2, Redmi K60 Ultra, and Xiaomi Pad 6 in China. However, the star of the show will be the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. So far, reports have claimed that it will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. However, a new leak reveals that the foldable phone will come with an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
According to the leak, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be powered by the amazing Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip clocked at 3.36GHz, which is a more powerful version of the regular version which runs at 3.2GHz. It is reported that the smartphone is equipped with games, which is Red Magic 8s Pro which was recently announced with the same chip.
The Xiaomi foldable phone will be paired with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will pack a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Other reports have claimed that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will have a 6.56-inch external cover display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with an 8.02-inch foldable screen that supports QHD+ quality with a resolution of 2160 x 1912 pixels. Both screens will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The inner screen will be equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor. The phone's rear camera setup will include a Sony IMX800 primary camera, a periscope telephoto sensor with 10x optical zoom, a telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens as well. It will come preloaded with Android 13 operating system which is based on MIUI 14 interface.
