The iPhone 15 Ultra is expected to come with an updated camera design

Apple is preparing to launch the new iPhone 15 series later this year. However, before its release, we have already covered several rumors and leaks related to the upcoming smartphones. Now, the report that we are dealing with today reveals some of the updated design elements, specifically in the rear camera.

It seems that Apple intends to make some changes in the design of the back panel of a specific phone in the series, which is iPhone 15 Ultra This is according to a source specialized in leaks on Twitter, where he stated that Apple is seriously planning to update the rear camera of the phone, as it is expected that we will see new redesigned sensors in addition to a new periscope lens.

This new sensor will add to Apple's zoom capabilities on upcoming iPhones, especially the iPhone 15 Ultra, although this feature will be exclusive to higher-end Pro models. Apart from this upcoming feature, these new sensors will offer true optical zoom up to 5x or 6x as well.

Also reportedly, changes are expected to be made in the design of the rear camera module to accommodate this new sensor. On the other hand, the less expensive iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to come with a 48-megapixel primary camera that we saw in the iPhone 14 Pro phones that were unveiled last year.
