Did you imagine a year ago that a mid-range smartphone would be launched with a 108MP rear camera? I think that all of us did not see any possibility of this happening, but developments in the technical world are happening at a terrible speed, and Samsung has finally decided to keep pace with these developments, as it is expected that a new phone will be launched in the middle class next year, which is Samsung Galaxy A73.
This phone will represent a real breakthrough in the mid-range category as it is expected to come with a main rear camera of 108 megapixels for the first time ever in A series phones after we saw that sensor previously in Galaxy S21 Ultra.
This is definitely a great policy from Samsung that will succeed in reducing the differences between phones in the flagship and mid-range category, which is what many manufacturers have taken, such as Xiaomi, which launched several phones in the middle class with a 108MP main camera and a telephoto lens.
This phone is expected to succeed Samsung Galaxy A72 which came with excellent specifications, most notably a 90Hz AMOLED screen and a Telephoto sensor, so the Galaxy A73 will have a difficult task in order to defeat and surpass this wonderful combination.
This feature will be Samsung's gift to its fans and the main attraction, after strong news spread during the last period that the South Korean company intends to use a 200-megapixel sensor in one of its phones soon, but it seems that this matter will be delayed a little.
Samsung Galaxy A73 specs and price
The expected phone is expected to come with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen that will provide Full HD + resolution and support a refresh rate of 120 Hz. With regard to internal hardware, the phone will come backed by the powerful Snapdragon 778G processor that we saw previously in Honor 50 and is expected to provide better performance than 720G in Galaxy A72.
We have 6 or 8 GB RAM with 128 or 256 GB internal storage. In terms of photography, we have a quad rear camera consisting of a 108MP primary sensor + 12MP ultra-wide lens + 8MP telephoto lens + 5MP macro camera, and there will be a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone will come with a giant battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh with support for fast charging capacity of 25 watts and the rest of the other specifications are 5G support and a fingerprint sensor under the display.
No official date has been set for the launch of that expected phone, but sources from South Korea say that it will be revealed during the next year, certainly in the period between March and April. These were all the features of the Samsung Galaxy A73 that we know about at the moment and we will update you with any new developments later.
