Realme officially announced its first flagship phone in 2021 in China which is Realme GT After a long series of leaks and rumors. The smartphone was finally launched with premium specifications like a dual-tone vegan leather design, three rear cameras, a Super AMOLED display and much more. Here is a closer look at the price, specifications and features of the new smartphone.
Realme GT specifications
Realme GT features a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display that supports FHD+ quality and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen also comes with a small central hole that houses the front camera, and the screen is also protected by a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 5.
In terms of internal hardware, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor that works in tandem with an Adreno 660 GPU just like the Xiaomi Mi 11. The phone comes with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Regarding the cameras, the phone comes with a triple rear camera in the shape of a rectangle located on the left side of the back of the phone. We have a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, there is a single 16-megapixel front camera.
The phone comes with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The new phone runs on the Realme UI 2.0 user interface based on the pre-installed Android 11 operating system.
Connectivity-wise, the smartphone supports 5G, LTE4, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor under the screen and we also have stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. and Hi-Res sound.
Phone price
Realme has set $430 as the price for the phone for the smaller version that comes with 8 + 128 GB, while the higher 12 + 256 GB version will be sold for $510. The phone is available in three options, black/gold, blue and silver, and the company confirmed that the phone will be sold starting from 10 March.
