While we are still waiting for the OnePlus 10 release after the Pro version was launched at the beginning of this year, a new leak indicates that the Chinese brand may focus on another phone it intends to launch in the mid-range, which is OnePlus Nord 3.
A recent leak indicates comes from Weibo indicates that it will come with many powerful upgrades in order to achieve high sales in the mid-range category.
This leak indicates that the OnePlus Nord 3 will be powered by a Dimensity 8100 chipset along with 12GB of RAM and a 4,500mAh battery. The screen is expected to receive its share of these upgrades, as it will come in a size of 6.7 inches instead of the 6.43 inches we saw in OnePlus Nord 2.
Regarding the camera, the phone is expected to pack a triple rear camera consisting of sensors with a resolution of: 50 + 8 + 2 MP.
Interestingly, the phone will support 150W fast charging which makes it superior to the OnePlus 10 Pro's 80W fast charging capability.
Considering that the Pro version can charge its 5,000mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just about half an hour, it seems that OnePlus wants to allay any battery life concerns.
The sister company Realme announced that it will launch a phone that supports 150W fast charging, which is Realme GT Neo3, it added that this high speed can charge a 4,500 mAh battery in just 15 minutes.
There is no official information regarding the expected launch date of OnePlus Nord 3, but since the previous phone was launched in July last year, we expect OnePlus to stick to the same schedule this year as well.
