Like last year, OnePlus may commit to release one phone in its T series of its flagship smartphones. Some information from reliable sources indicated that the Chinese brand is currently developing and equipping OnePlus 9T, while there are absolutely no plans to launch a Pro version.
OnePlus 9T will come as an upgraded version of OnePlus 9 which was launched in March of this year. If the company follows its annual schedule, we can officially launch this awaited phone by October of this year. But before that alleged launch 3 months from now, news and details about the phone started to surface.
The latest news from China indicates that the OnePlus 9T will come with Samsung's LTPO AMOLED display, which is certainly to be expected given that it is a flagship phone and should come with the best possible specs.
Therefore, we expect the phone to come with an AMOLED screen that supports a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz, which will be adjusted according to the content displayed on the screen. It is expected to be 6.5 inches in size and come in Full HD+ quality.
The bad news is that there won't be a Pro version this year unfortunately. If so, it wouldn't seem like much of a surprise given that the same launch schedule happened last year as well as we only saw one phone in the T series which is OnePlus 8T.
Although it is not possible to confirm the launch date and the alleged specifications, it is likely that OnePlus will go on the same timeline mentioned above in order to launch the new phone in the T series which will offer value for a price higher than OnePlus 9 Pro.
OnePlus 9T Specs
As for the specifications that we are likely to see in the upcoming phone, it is likely that it will come with the best processor from Qualcomm at the moment, which is the Snapdragon 888, along with a RAM capacity of at least 8 GB and an internal storage space of 128 GB, for sure there will be a version 12 + 256 GB.
There are also specifications that will certainly be similar to the OnePlus 9 series, including a Hasselblad-designed rear camera, support for 65W fast charging and the latest Android operating system.
