It may not be familiar to you, but 10-year-old Xiaomi is the third largest smartphone company in the world. It has a range of high-quality, affordable phones under the Mi series of flagship phones and the Redmi family in the mid-to-economy category, often unbeatable in terms of value for money that their phones offer.
The most prominent problems of Xiaomi in the current period is the availability of its phones, unfortunately we see most of the premium flagship phones are exclusive to the Chinese market only or India and are not launched in all global markets often, where only medium phones are offered.
Case in point: The flagship Mi 11 was announced in China on December 28, 2020, but it hasn't gone on sale in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. The new Redmi Note 10 Pro was also announced, and we are still waiting for its launch in the coming period. You can also see Best Xiaomi Mobiles 2022.
List of the best Xiaomi phones
Here are the best Xiaomi phones in 2021, a classification we made based on many considerations, most notably specifications, price, features,
We also consider the value that the phone will provide to the user and whether there are better options.
Xiaomi Mi 11
Xiaomi Mi 11 It is an early gift at the beginning of 2021 from Xiaomi to its fans in order to get excited early for what awaits them for the rest of the year, as the phone offers a great mix of powerful specifications for the price. We have the most powerful processor out there, a beautiful screen, and powerful cameras all wrapped into a beautiful piece of industrial design.
Some will miss the IP rating in terms of resistance against water and dust, although the biggest downsides to me are I prefer the macro lens over the telephoto lens, the average battery life isn't best in class, and the overall user experience still lags behind the main competitors.
Mi 10T Pro
This mighty phone is now one of our top recommendations for the best Xiaomi phones, if not quite as competitive as the Mi 11 andMi 11 Ultra. We'd have liked to see an AMOLED display, support for wireless charging and some design improvements, but these are all sacrifices we're willing to make for what appears to be a very powerful all-in-one package at a lower cost.
Xiaomi specializes in value with Mi 10T ProIt carefully balances reducing costs while not compromising the user experience. We have last year’s powerful and flagship Snapdragon 865 processor, IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, 108MP primary camera, giant battery, plus we have 5G support: these are all specifications that were not previously found in mid-range phones.
The Mi 10T Pro specs on paper are unmatched by any other phone in this price category.
Xiaomi Mi 10
Recommending this phone at the moment might seem like a no-brainer since its successor has already been launched. But Mi 10 It still offers a very strong value amongst its peers.
Some of these powerful features of the phone include support for 5G networks, a 90Hz Super AMOLED screen, a new 108-megapixel camera, which was the first phone to witness the presence of this excellent camera, a long-lasting battery with a capacity of 4,780 mAh, and a fast LPDDR5 RAM capacity.
We only have 30W fast charging support, which makes us a little conservative, but Xiaomi made up for that with the phone's support for 30W wireless charging. We also have a Snapdragon 865 processor and a RAM capacity of up to 12GB which ensures an amazing and powerful performance.
Poco X3 NFC
Poco X3 It's not a perfect phone after all but the big battery makes it stand out from the rest of its competitors. As for the rest of the phone's flaws, these are small complaints, especially when you look at them against the X3's myriad strengths: solid specs, an excellent camera, a beautiful screen, and an absolutely fantastic battery life.
The fact that you can buy the phone right now for just $200 is almost unbelievable, and makes the Poco X3 the best budget phone in 2020.
Mi 10 Lite
If you want to get a 5G phone, Mi 10 Lite It is the ideal choice in the current range of Xiaomi phones, in fact, it is one of the most outstanding 5G phones in terms of good specifications and also because of its good price.
Although it is a watered down version of the Mi 10, Xiaomi hasn't made many compromises as Mi 10 Lite still offers a solid feature set.
The Snapdragon 765G Qualcomm processor is impressively powerful, and Xiaomi has packed the Mi 10 Lite with other good features, including 20W fast charging and a 48MP quad rear camera.
Redmi Note 10 Pro
Redmi Note 10 Pro One of the best budget phones you can buy, this amazing phone from Xiaomi offers exceptional value for money.
The main strengths of this phone that distinguish it from other competitors are that it comes with an AMOLED screen and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and we have a primary rear camera with a primary sensor of 108 megapixels, which is a real breakthrough in a phone at that price.
There are also other good specs like the inclusion of a headphone jack, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and stereo speakers. Battery life is also strong as we have one with a capacity of over 5000 mAh with support for 33W fast charging, and we have a good processor which is Snapdragon 732G which ensures a smooth using experience.
Our only real issue is the lack of 5G support but the company may later release a 5G version.
Redmi Note 10
With a phone with those specifications and at a price of up to $ 195, we are probably in front of the best phone in the middle class in 2021. Despite the obvious differences between it and the Pro version, it is still a good phone.
Redmi Note 10 It offers excellent value for the price as it comes with a distinctive Super AMOLED screen but without a refresh rate unfortunately, we have a Snapdragon 678 processor that offers the minimum experience of use for anyone, and we still have attractive selling points as well as there is a 48-megapixel rear camera and a giant battery The capacity of 5000 mAh is the main strength of the phone.
Redmi Note 9S
Redmi Note 9S It is one of the best budget phones we have ever seen. What would stop you from buying this amazing $200 device, a true multifunctional phone with decent performance and cameras, as well as amazing battery life. Redmi scored the longest on the Geekbench 4 battery life test we've seen so far.
We're not a fan of the rear camera module, but all of these weaknesses can be forgiven for such a price that is affordable for all users. This device sets an example that you can buy a good smartphone without having to pay a lot of money.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4
When we make a list of the best gaming phones, this device will surely rank high on our list.
What qualifies it to occupy a prominent position is that it is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor with a capacity of 12GB RAM which means that the user will get a solid performance, while we have some modes inside the phone that gamers will really like. Other benefits include some significant camera improvements and amazingly fast charging speeds.
This is certainly not what most people have in mind when they think of a new smartphone, but Xiaomi hopes that gamers will appreciate the amount of effort the company is putting in to chart the way for the future of gaming phones, so we advise everyone to buy Xiaomi Black Shark 4.
Black Shark 4 Pro
Your gaming experience is here to the max with Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro Which comes with many improvements compared to the standard version, as that phone comes with a Snapdragon 888 processor, which there is no other processor more powerful than it currently with up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.
Here we also have a 6.67 inch Super AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for a smooth user experience which gamers will be very welcome too. We also have a 64MP triple rear camera in order for the user not to be deprived of the photographic experience.
The most prominent strength of the phone from our point of view is the super fast charging, which we have not found in any phone before, we have a charger attached to the phone box with a capacity of 120 watts, which can charge half the battery in just 5 minutes and the entire battery in just a quarter of an hour! Can you imagine how advanced the Chinese company is in terms of fast charging capabilities?
Redmi Note 9T
Redmi Note 9T It's a high-end phone that brings more distinction to the Redmi series phones but it's more than that: it's an economical phone that offers excellent performance, great battery life and a crisp and clear screen.
Not everything is positive about that phone for sure, the rear back isn't clearly impressive, and we have a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen alongside the power button-mounted fingerprint sensor. Plus, the camera isn't the best in that price category.
However, if you want to keep up with the technological developments around you and buy a 5G phone without spending a lot of money, then the Redmi Note 9T is one of the devices to consider.
Redmi Note 9
If you have decided that you are not going to spend a lot of money on your next phone, Redmi Note 9 It is a great smartphone that perfectly fits your financial capabilities. Although the phone is not flawless, you can't argue with the value it offers for the price.
Although the phone is entirely made of plastic, it comes with a good design, and it also comes with great features like the quad rear camera that performed mostly well in our tests, except for the lack of some finer details.
This phone promises good battery life, although we were hoping for better performance from the massive 5,020mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi 9
If staying within budget is your primary goal, Xiaomi Redmi 9 It is the best cheap phone we have found. Given that this device has a lot to offer, it has many good specifications, most notably a large 5020 mAh battery and a quad rear camera, which makes it on our list.
To be honest, performance and imaging are clearly average, lacking the necessities like NFC, and we have a poor plastic design with a pretty standard screen without any of the features.
If you don't mind increasing your budget a bit, you probably don't need to look for your phone outside of Xiaomi phones. With significantly better cameras, faster performance, and higher storage options, the Redmi 9 can't beat the Redmi Note 9 or the Poco X3 NFC.
