2021 was an excellent year for Xiaomi, as the Redmi Note 10 series managed to dominate sales in the mid-range andMi 11 Ultra managed to create some competition with Samsung in the flagship phone category.
It is one of the best phones that you can buy at the moment. Xiaomi is now looking forward to continuing this momentum and beginning the new year in the best possible way with Xiaomi Mi 12.
In this regard, Xiaomi announced that it will unveil the Xiaomi 12 series in China on December 28. It is scheduled to be launched those phones in those global markets in the first quarter of next year.
Xiaomi may take advantage of the MWC conference to unveil its next flagship phone in international markets. This schedule is similar to what Xiaomi did with Mi 11, as the phone lineup was first revealed in China in December, followed by global launches in February.
The early detection of these phones means that Xiaomi is the first brand to launch a phone powered by Qualcomm's latest processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This has been the case for the past two years as well and the company has always been a pioneer in using the latest Qualcomm processors in its flagship phones.

But with the delay hitting the global launch schedule of the Mi 11 series, it will be interesting to see if Xiaomi can put the flagship phone on the market before the expected arrival of Galaxy S22.
Other than the powerful hardware, the Xiaomi 12 series phones are set to come with exciting upgrades in terms of camera capabilities, with some leaks pointing to a possible partnership with Leica. We are expected to see three models apart from the standard version which are Lite, Mini and Pro.
There is a fourth phone in the series which is Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra that the company will officially unveil it next year. With only one week left for the upcoming launch, we won't have to wait long to know the specifications and price of the upcoming Xiaomi phones anymore.
