Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 price
The phone comes at a very affordable price for almost all price groups, to confirm once again that it takes the buyer's budget into account well and strives to launch budget phones at cheap prices and at the same time with good specifications.
The 4 + 64 GB version was priced at $ 165 - 2590 Egyptian pounds - 618 SAR, while the price was set at 199 dollars for the 4 + 128 GB version, which is equivalent to 3125 Egyptian pounds - 746 SAR. The larger version, which is 8 + 128 GB, comes at a price of 279 dollars - 4380 pounds - 1045 riyals.
It is worth noting that this is the price of the global version of the phone, but the price of the device within certain markets may certainly differ due to other factors such as customs, fees and merchant greed, so the phone may be offered at prices higher than that in some countries, and only some specific versions may be offered as well, not all copies the phone.
Phone features
- The design of the phone really impressed me. The matte plastic finish on the back really catches the eyes. Slight curves gently glide across the sides and blend into the polished metal frame for a comfortable grip in the palm.
- The colors of the phone are really impressive especially the white color, which is completely immune to fingerprints.
- The quad-camera design fits almost on the back and the shape of the camera module is the same as the one on the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
- Surprisingly, the 3.5mm headphone jack, with Hi-res certification, is on the bottom which is definitely a better position for it compared to the top as it is on the Pro Max.
- The build quality feels sturdy and solid, yet the phone feels very light in the hand.
- Furthermore, the company has introduced an IP53 rating for dust and water resistance.
- The specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 stand out clearly making you feel as if it is a phone that might command a much higher price than its official price.
- We can comfortably say that the Redmi Note 10 is the best budget phone on the market at the moment.
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is also the only phone, other than Galaxy M21It comes with a Super AMOLED display in the $200 price category.
- As with the higher Pro versions, the regular Redmi Note 10 also features FHD+ screen quality with the same pixel resolution.
- While the screen is only limited to 60Hz in terms of refresh rate, the color accuracy and dynamic range are impeccable.
- The Redmi Note 10 also features a screen brightness of approximately 1,100 nits, which makes outdoor viewing in harsh sunlight smooth without any issues.
- The company has been consistent with camera performance over the years and that obviously carried over to the Note 10 as well. Looking at photos taken with the phone, the colors look bright and exciting with a touch of extra saturation.
- Dynamic range is excellent especially for smartphones in this price category.
- Night shooting mode is decent on the Note 10, although we would have liked the focus to be a little faster.
- The front camera focuses on sharpening the face a lot, although it maintains a stable dynamic range.
- In terms of performance, all tasks are performed very well according to our experience of the phone in many scenarios including running heavy applications and games that require high graphics but we recommend you to buy a version higher than the 4 GB version.
- The fingerprint sensor on the side works very well. You also get stereo speakers that sound good at best, and for the price you can't expect a better experience. Earpiece and microphone quality worked as expected and I had no issues with my 4G network connectivity.
- The phone comes with the latest software possible at the moment.
- The phone works on a giant battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which supports fast charging with a capacity of 33 watts. Having a screen that supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate helps in this regard as the phone lasts longer. Getting a full day of battery life was never a problem.
Phone defects
- There's not a whole lot I don't like about the Redmi Note 10, as the device has pushed the boundaries of a budget phone and proven to be a good buy, so to speak. However, no phone is perfect and there are some annoying aspects.
- It seems that the 4 + 64 GB version is quite traditional and does not fit the user experience requirements of any user at the moment.
- Dynamic Vibration isn't always what you want as the engine buzzes with every tap on the screen.
- While shooting in low light, exposure cannot be controlled manually via the slider, as is common on many smartphones. The sensor needs to focus on an area after a long press and even then sometimes the slider doesn't appear at all.
- The macro sensor is mostly there just for stuffing the rear camera module and nothing more.
Conclusion
Any complaints about the Redmi Note 10 are just small issues from what I consider a pretty flawless phone. Xiaomi has probably made the best budget smartphone in a long time.
With an impressive design, excellent cameras, a good processor, a giant battery and an amazing AMOLED screen, what do you need anymore. I find it hard to recommend another smartphone under $200 right now, and for good reason. The Redmi Note 10 is a bargain for any user, and as such the ball is now in Realme's court to launch a worthy competitor phone.
