After months of leaks and reports, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch a new generation of flagship gaming phones, a series Xiaomi Black Shark 4 The company is scheduled to hold a dedicated event on March 23rd.
The smartphones will be revealed in China at 3 PM local time – 9 AM Cairo time – 10 AM KSA. Along with the information in the original article below, officials have also confirmed that the Pro variant will pack a triple rear camera.
The standard version is expected to come with a Snapdragon 870 processor, while Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro It will come with the flagship Snapdragon 888 processor.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 specifications
Mystery still surrounds the specifications of the next generation of the Xiaomi gaming phone, but it was reported by many reports from China that it will come with a slightly lower battery capacity of up to 4500 mAh compared to the battery Black Shark 3 Which comes with a capacity of 4720 mAh.
However, it appears that the Black Shark 4 will get a full charge in less than 15 minutes compared to the 40-minute charging time of the previous generation which is proof that it will support a super fast charging capacity of up to 120W.
Aside from the fast charging upgrade, you can expect the Black Shark 4 to feature a flagship Snapdragon 870 processor. We also expect liquid cooling technology to be on the phone in order to reduce overheating as it has been a key feature of the series phones from the start.
There is no word on how many releases we will see in the series, but if we look at the previous series, you can expect the two upcoming Black Shark launches, the Standard Edition and the Pro Edition.
Regarding the screen, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is likely to come with a large AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. Last year's models were capped at 90Hz, so we may see this year's phone with a 120Hz refresh rate display.
