Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro officially unveiled with distinctive specs

While there is unparalleled excitement in the 2022 World Cup, China never ceases to amaze us with its feature phones. Xiaomi 13 andXiaomi 13 Pro officially arrived in the Chinese market today, with strong specifications and major upgrades compared to the previous generation phones. So what do these new phones offer, what are the most prominent specifications, and what about pricing?

Specifications and price of the Xiaomi 13 series

Both phones come from a wonderful AMOLED screen that includes a fingerprint sensor and a central hole to house the front camera, and supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1900 nits per inch, and HDR10 +.

The regular version comes with a 6.36-inch screen and supports FHD+ quality, while the Pro version features a 6.73-inch panel that supports QHD+ resolution with curved edges.

The design of the standard Xiaomi 13 looks a bit more like a box while the Pro version has a slim and graceful design. Both phones have IP68 water and dust protection, stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, and a technology called nanoskin that makes it easy to clean the phone's back panel.

In terms of camera, the Xiaomi 13 series has triple rear cameras developed by Leica. In the regular version, we have a 50MP OIS-supported Sony IMX800 primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor.

The Pro version comes with a 50MP Sony IMX989 primary lens paired with a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto sensor. Both smartphones feature a 16MP front camera.

Both phones run on the same chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and come with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, and it also features a liquid cooling system.

The standard version runs on a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 4,820mAh battery that supports the same wireless charging capacity while coming with better 120W fast charging.
