Samsung decided to end the year 2023 in the best possible way in the mid-range category, as it announced three new phones, the Galaxy A15 (in 4G and 5G versions) andGalaxy A25 5G.
While the A25 supports 5G connectivity, the A15 comes in two versions 4G and5G. One of the key features of the three phones is that they come equipped with Samsung's new Key Island feature, which is nothing but a unique design of the device with rounded edges designed to provide a comfortable grip to the user. Samsung Galaxy A15, Galaxy A15 5G specs
The 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A15 have the same specifications, but they differ mainly in the internal chipset. The 4G version has a Helio G99 chip, 8GB RAM, and 128/256GB internal storage. On the other hand, the 5G version has a Dimensity 6100 Plus chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.
Both phones have a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-U screen that supports FHD+ quality, with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and up to 800 nits per inch. Both feature a 13MP front camera and a 50MP + 5MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) triple rear camera.
Samsung Galaxy A25 5G specs
The Galaxy A25 5G has a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED Infinity-U display that supports Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits per inch. The Exynos 1280 chipset-powered phone comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
For selfies, the Galaxy A25 has a 13-megapixel front camera. The phone also comes with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A15 (4G and 5G versions) are backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. In order to reduce the price of the two phones as best as possible, these phones are equipped with a side fingerprint sensor. Both phones run Android 14 based on the One UI 6.0 interface.
Pricing and market availability
The 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A15 are priced starting at $205 and $260 for their base models. The A25, on the other hand, costs up to $270. The new A series phones come in exciting colors such as yellow, blue and black.
The phones were officially unveiled in Vietnam, and the Korean company will certainly launch them in all international markets in the next few months.
