OnePlus 10T Officially Unveiled With Gen 1 Plus Chip & 150W Fast Charging

The Chinese brand OnePlus has officially announced a new flagship phone today, which is OnePlus 10T. The company revealed the phone at a dedicated event in New York City, USA, which was broadcast on YouTube.

The new phone comes as a successor to OnePlus 8T that revealed in October 2020, the company decided to skip the 9T for undisclosed reasons. The 10T arrives with many features that make it compete strongly in the upper mid-range phones category.

OnePlus 10T Specs

The phone comes with a unique design similar to OnePlus 10 Pro. We have a big bump for the square camera on the back. The device packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, supports HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone packs the best and most powerful chip at the moment, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus which is based on 8, 12 or 16 GB RAM along with 128 or 256 GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 12 operating system based on the OxygenOS 12.1 user interface.

The phone packs a 4800mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging so you don't have to worry about running out of battery at all. A 160 watt charger is included in the box by the way, and the maximum charging capacity in countries that use 110 volt power outlets is only 125W.

OnePlus has included a new feature in the phone called Battery Health Engine that significantly reduces battery wear in the long run.

The OnePlus 10T comes with major compromises on camera specs in order to keep the price as low as possible. We have a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. We have a 16MP front camera as well.

Price and availability in the markets

The device was priced in North American markets at $ 649 for the standard version 8 + 128 GB, while the higher version 12 + 256 GB comes at a price of $ 749, and the pre-orders stage will open in the United States on September 1, and the shipping process will begin on September 29.

For European markets, the 8 + 128 GB version is priced at 699 euros while the 12 + 256 GB version comes at 799 euros. The price of the phone in India is 632 and 695 dollars for the two versions mentioned, while the higher version 16 + 256 GB is priced at $ 708.
