We're already past mid-2022, and while we've been wasting our time on social media, Samsung has been focusing all of its efforts on Galaxy Z Fold 4 andZ Flip 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds Pro 2 models. The company will be holding its next Unpacked event on August 10 where all of these products will be officially unveiled.
We already know a lot about these devices, including what they might look like, what they'll bring us in terms of specs, and the expected price range. However, none of that information can be confirmed until those devices are official, so we're open to any leaks but we can't take them seriously.
Similar pricing to last year's models
A leaker named SnoopyTech, who has a track record of credibility, claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will come with two versions: 12 + 256 GB and 12 + 512 GB.
We don't rule out the possibility of a 1 TB version rumored for a while, but on the other hand we think there won't be a 128 GB version that was mentioned in leaks from months ago, which certainly makes sense as that storage is not enough for many users these days given The terrible development in the size of images, files and applications, which means taking up more storage space than before.
The Fold 4 will be launched in three colors: green, black, and gray, with news indicating that there will be a custom version in red but it will be sold exclusively on the official Samsung store only.
Regarding the Flip 4, the beloved phone will come with 8 GB RAM and will include 128 GB, 256 and 512 GB internal storage options. Color options will include blue, graphite, rose gold, and purple.
Initially, there were rumors that the Fold 4 and Flip 4 would be priced cheaper than last year's phones, but a recent report suggested that the Flip 4 might sell for a bit more. According to Gizpaw, a European retailer has already listed the phones in its own store, according to listings, the 256 GB version of the Fold 4 will sell for 1,863 euros while the 512 GB version is priced at 1,81 euros.
The same source says that the standard version of the Z Flip 4 of 128 GB will sell for 1080 euros and the top model 512 GB will cost 1275 euros.
But another source reported on Twitter, Alvin reported that the price of the 256 GB version of the Z Fold 4 is 1,799 euros, while the price of the 128 GB version of the Z Flip 4 is 1,049 euros.
Foldable phones are already very expensive and Samsung is said to be working on a bendable mid-range Galaxy A phone to make it easier to use.
