Chinese brand Vivo has unveiled the new generation of its iQOO series of flagship phones. The new smartphone lineup consists of two devices: iQOO 10 andiQOO 10 Pro. The two phones come with distinct specifications and many features that enable them to compete with the most prominent Android phones in the current year.
iQOO 10 Series Specs and Features
The standard version and iQOO 10 Pro both come with 6.78-inch AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Standard Edition screen supports FHD+ quality, while the Pro Edition screen with curved edges features QHD+ resolution.
Smartphones are equipped with an on-screen fingerprint scanner. Design-wise, the iQOO 10 series features a very distinct back with a two-tone design language.
In terms of photography, the new series phones feature triple rear cameras. The regular version includes a 50MP Samsung GN5 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor.
The Pro model also has the same primary camera but is paired with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 14.6MP telephoto camera. On the front, both phones have a 16MP front camera. Both smartphones are equipped with a Vivo V1+ chip to improve photographic capabilities.
The iQOO 10 series phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. It is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The Standard Edition draws power from a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, while the Pro Edition is powered by the same battery but with 200W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Prices and availability in the markets
iQOO 10 starts at $550 for the base version 8+128GB. The 8 + 128 GB and 12 + 256 GB models are priced at $595 and $635, respectively. The 12 + 512 GB version costs $696.
The premium Pro version comes in 8 + 256 GB, 12 + 256 GB, and 12 + 512 GB configurations. They are priced at $740, $815, and $890, respectively.
The phones will reach the shelves of all stores in the Chinese market after one week from now, and there is no news about the launch date of the series in global markets.
