iPhone 15 will support Wi-Fi 6E technology as the new iPad Pro and Mac versions

While we are still many months away from the official launch of iPhone 15, many rumors and leaks have already spread, and the technical community has started talking about what we can see in the upcoming Apple phones lineup, and today we are on a date with another report that reveals very important information.

According to research by Blayne Curtis and Tom O'Malley, all iPhone 15 series phones will support the Wi-Fi 6E calling option. But, unfortunately, it is not clear whether all phones will contain the latest global standards for networks, or if they will be limited to higher versions, specifically the Pro models.

It is worth noting that the California-based American giant is already using the Wi-Fi 6E feature on the latest iPad Pro models, as well as the MacBook Pro and Mac mini PC as well.

This is indeed happy news since the current iPhone 14 series only supports the older Wi-Fi 6 standard. For those who are not well aware, this standard works on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands while Wi-Fi 6E works on the 6GHz band.

This feature allows for faster wireless speeds, lower latency, and less signal interference as well. In other words, we will see significant and comprehensive improvements in terms of networks compared to 2022 phones. To make the most of Wi-Fi 6E networks, the user needs to connect it to a router that supports that feature as well.

The list of available options includes routers from well-known brands such as ASUS, TP-Link, and Netgear. Interestingly, the Wi-Fi 6E standard was also previously rumored to be present in the iPhone 13 lineup and even the iPhone 14 series as well, but that did not happen in the end.

However, the news that this feature will finally be present in the iPhone 15 series seems quite logical. But keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report, so take this news a little more seriously for now.
