Huawei is one of the first brands to break into the world of foldable smartphones. There have been rumors recently that the company is working on a new foldable phone: Huawei Mate X3, and now, the potential release schedule has been revealed.
This new news comes from a Chinese tech blogger on Weibo. The source reported that the Mate X3 will be officially unveiled soon and will arrive with a similar design Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
This means that the expected foldable phone from Huawei will also come with two screens, an external panel and the main one is a large screen that folds inward or closer to a panel that is mounted on a vertical hinge.
Although the two phones share the same design, Huawei's foldable phone will come at a much lower price than its Samsung counterpart. From what we know so far, it is believed that the Mate X3 will arrive powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which unfortunately will only support 4G networks.
Is the phone coming soon? In fact, there is no specific launch date, but some previous reports indicated a specific date, which is December of this year, and therefore we may be only days away from the official launch. While other sources reported that the launch date may be in the first half of 2023.
It is worth noting that Huawei launched the previous generation Mate X2 in February of last year, so it seems clear that a long period of time has passed since that time and that users need a successor for this phone, in any case there is not much left to see the upcoming Huawei foldable phone Huawei Mate X3 Which may remove Samsung from the top of the best manufacturer for this category of phones.
