Honor 60 series officially unveiled: here are the price and specifications

Honor was the first brand to launch phones powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor in June of this year. The company continued to gain the exclusive lead and today announced its first phone to come powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus processor, which is a slightly improved version.

Honor 60 Pro Specs

The new phone we're talking about is Honor 60 Pro which its specs consist of a curved OLED display with FHD+ quality, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the phone screen supports many features such as those found in the best Android phones 2021, such as HDR10+.

In terms of photography, the phone comes with a triple rear camera consisting of a 108MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. We have a single front camera of 50MP.

The phone promises the “perfect video shooting experience,” thanks to its AI-powered gesture recognition technology. Creators can use hand gestures to switch between front and rear cameras, and single and dual lenses.

Honor 60 Pro works on a 4800 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. Honor says that the included charger is able to charge 50% of the battery capacity in just 15 minutes.

What about the standard version?

Honor 60 comes with a 6.67-inch OLED screen and supports the same resolution and the same refresh rate as the Pro version.

With regard to the internal hardware, the phone works on the Snapdragon 778G processor, which is the same processor that we saw in Honor 50.

The phone comes with the same rear camera as the Pro version, but the difference here is in the front camera where we have a single sensor with a resolution of 32 MP instead of 50 MP, unfortunately there are no stereo headphones, which is a feature that has been overlooked, as for the rest of the specifications there are no differences between The two phones.

Both phones run on the pre-installed Android 11 operating system and have Magic UI 5.0.

Honor 60 Pro was priced at $580 for the 8 + 256 GB version and $ 628 for the 12 + 256 GB version. On the other hand, the Honor 60 starts at $424 and goes up to $518 for the 12+256GB top version.

Although the company has not announced any details regarding this now, the new Honor 60 series could reach all global markets at the beginning of next year.
