If we go back to 2019, the Galaxy S10 Plus is the only Samsung phone to date that offers up to 1TB of built-in storage. Major brands also do not support the option to expand storage by installing an external memory card, and rumors suggest that this will be the case for the Galaxy S22 series as well.
Now that Apple has introduced the Pro and Pro Max models in the iPhone 13 series with a 1TB version, some might have expected to launch at least a phone from the Galaxy S22 lineup with the same capacity, but it looks like that won't happen.
A leaker on Twitter revealed through the data he succeeded in obtaining from some retailers that the storage space of the Galaxy S22 phones will reach 512 GB. The standard model will come with 8GB of RAM, which will be paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
Samsung will likely use the new LPDDR5X DRAM. Color options include rose gold, green, black and white.
Galaxy S22 Plus will also come with the same RAM and internal storage options as well as colors.
Galaxy S22 Ultra will also be available in 12 GB RAM versions paired with 128 or 256 GB storage, and one 16 + 512 GB model and will be sold in white, black and dark red color options while we didn't get any confirmations regarding the previously rumored green.
It is worth noting that all phones in the series will come with the newly revealed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor or the yet to be seen Samsung Exynos 2200, depending on which market you will buy the phone from.
According to several previous reports, Galaxy S22 will come with a 6.06-inch display while the Plus version will feature a 6.55-inch screen. Both phones will support a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto sensor that supports 10x optical zoom.
Samsung will include the best possible technology in the Ultra version which is a 6.8 inch screen and a quad rear camera. It's also fairly certain that we'll see a dedicated slot for the S-Pen.
