The Oppo Find X5 Pro has been the subject of some leaks and rumors lately, giving us a good idea of what to expect when the phone launches later this year. However, this latest leak leaves almost nothing to expect.
German tech website WinFuture has published a comprehensive article showing several images of the Oppo Find X5 Pro, as well as a lot of the expected specifications and features.
The renders are broadly in line with the leaked renders that Steve Hemmerstoffer published in December, which shows the camera module which appears to be made of the same glass as the back cover. But these latest images show the upcoming phone in two color options, white and black. We also see “powered by MariSilicon” written on the rear camera module, confirming major advances in photographic technology.
In terms of dimensions and weight, the phone is said to have dimensions of 163.7 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and will weigh 218 grams. This gives it similar dimensions to the previous phone, but with a heavier weight than Find X3 Pro.
Oppo Find X5 Pro Specs
It is certain that the phone will already be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, along with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded by installing an external memory card.
The Find X5 Pro will also work on a 5000 mAh battery that will support 80W fast charging, it is clear that this section of the phone has received an upgrade compared to the Find X3 Pro that was launched with a 4500 mAh battery and 65W fast charging .
As for photography and the camera, it is said that the Oppo Find X5 Pro will come with a triple rear camera. This consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, which is a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a Sony IMX766 sensor, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens that supports zoom 5X Hybrid, True 2X or 3X Optical Zoom.
These specs are almost identical to last year's phone except that the macro sensor will be removed from this year's camera. The front camera will come with a 32-megapixel resolution, which will be located in the left hole of the screen, and its task will be to take selfies and video calls.
The rest of the specifications of the upcoming OPPO flagship phone include a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with QHD+ quality and protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus layer. We also have an under-screen fingerprint sensor, IP68 water and dust protection, and dual stereo speakers.
Oppo will officially unveil the phone at MWC 2022, at a price exceeding $1,350.
