Xiaomi launched a new phone in China today which is Xiaomi Mi 10S Which looks like an excellent Flagship Killer, as it comes with many powerful specifications in many aspects along with an excellent price.
When we look at the specifications and details of the phone, we will find that it looks a lot like Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, but the biggest difference is that the first comes with a Snapdragon 870 processor.
It seems that the new phone borrowed the rest of its specifications from Mi 10 5G which was revealed in February of last year.
Xiaomi Mi 10S specifications
The new Xiaomi phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with curved edges with a hole in the top left corner in order to house the front camera. The screen offers Full HD+ quality with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sensitivity, 1,120 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 on-screen protection.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 870 processor based on 8 or 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.
The device comes supported by a giant battery with a capacity of 4780 mAh, which supports fast charging with a capacity of 33 watts, where the battery can be fully charged in just one hour. There is also support for 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging. In order to cool down the phone's temperature when it gets hot, we have liquid cooling technology.
The phone comes with a quad rear camera consisting of a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and we have two 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors, respectively, the phone supports 8K video shooting at 30 frames per second, there is a single 20-megapixel front camera.
The phone runs on the Android 11 operating system based on the MIUI 12 user interface. As for the other specifications, we have a fingerprint sensor under the screen and support for installing two SIM cards, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, IR blaster, and a USB-C port.
For a premium audio experience, Mi 10S features dual Harman Kardon stereo speakers that support a 360-degree surround sound experience. The company proudly claims that the device scored 80 points in the DxOMark audio benchmarks.
Phone price
The phone was launched in three distinct color options which are black, white and blue. The phone is now ready for pre-orders and is set to go on sale for the first time in China starting March 12th. Customers who pre-order the device will get a 30W wireless charger among other purchase benefits. There is no information about the possibility of launching the phone in global markets or not.
