The official unveiling of the Xiaomi 13 series was supposed to take place in China today. However, the announcement event has been postponed and the company has yet to reveal the date for the new conference. As of this writing, many rumors and details have been leaked about both of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
The Chinese brand also revealed some key features of the smartphone in promotional posts. Now, reliable technical blogger Ishan Agarwal has shared new details about the RAM capacity and internal storage space for both upcoming phones. As this was the only information that was missing so far that we did not know anything about beforehand.
The report reveals that the Xiaomi 13 will be available in four different versions, i.e. 8 + 128 GB, 8 + 256 GB, 12 + 256 GB, and 12 + 512 GB. It will also be officially launched in limited color options. As for the Pro version, it will also arrive in four configurations like the regular variant. Apart from those details, there is no additional information about my Xiaomi 13 series phone.
It has been confirmed that both phones will come with an E6 AMOLED screen, but the difference is that the regular version will have a flat screen, while the Pro version will feature a screen with curved edges. Both devices will have very narrow bezels around the screen, with a thickness of only 1.61 mm on all sides, along with a metal frame.
In terms of photography experience, both phones will feature cameras designed by the well-known Leica company. The company has confirmed that the Pro model will feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary sensor. In addition, both phones will come with different 75mm telephoto sensors with an f/2.0 lens slot.
Moving on to the internal hardware of the two devices, the two Xiaomi 13 series phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. There will be LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. It is expected that both the regular and Pro version will support fast charging of 67W and 120W, respectively.
