Xiaomi unveils Redmi Note 11 series: Super fast charging capabilities

The Redmi Note series is the popular lineup of phones from Xiaomi, which succeeds in achieving excellent sales thanks to the great features that it offers in its phones and the great value it provides for what the user pays and many other features.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 already officially arrived in March of this year, and now the company has announced the new generation of Xiaomi Redmi phones in China.

In the past years, we only had two phones in the series, the Standard Edition and the Pro version. But the Redmi Note 11 series comes with a third phone in the series which is the Pro Plus version for the first time. So let's get straight to the point.

Redmi Note 11

The cheapest phone in the entire series is Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, but that certainly doesn't mean it's a bad phone. The phone works on an average processor, which is Dimensity 810 5G, next to a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ quality that supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz, we also have a giant battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh.

The new phone comes with support for fast charging with a capacity of 33 watts, where the phone battery can be fully charged in only about 62 minutes. We have a dual rear camera, but it contains four lenses and the two additional lenses are for cosmetic purposes only!

The decision to include these blank sensors may be misleading to the average user, so we were not happy with this step from Xiaomi.

The real camera module consists of a 50MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, this time leaving out the macro and depth sensors. We have a single 16MP front camera which is located inside the central screen hole.

The rest of the specifications are a fingerprint sensor installed on the power button, a 3.5 mm port, an infrared blaster, Android 11 operating system, and the MIUI 12.5 user interface.

Redmi Note 11 Pro

The Pro model comes as an upgraded version of the standard version, as is certainly expected, as it replaces that processor with another more powerful one, the Dimensity 920, which means an excellent performance experience, especially in games and various daily tasks.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and works on an excellent 5160 mAh battery in parallel with a 5160 mAh fast charging capacity that can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in just 43 minutes.

We have a triple rear camera consisting of a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor, and we also have the same 16MP front camera.

The phone shares the same other specifications as the standard version but the plus here is that it comes powered by stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.

Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus

Although this name suggests strength, Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus looks like a regular phone that we see a lot in the mid-range. The phone retains the same design as the Pro version and works on the same processor, which is Dimensity 920, and there is also a 120Hz AMOLED screen and the same triple rear camera.

The only major difference is that the phone works on a 4,500 mAh battery, which consists of two cells, each with a capacity of 2,225 mAh, while we have an imaginary fast charging capacity of 120 watts that will fully charge the phone in just 15 minutes, a feature that is unique to this phone compared to all other competitors.

Personally, I tend to buy the regular Pro version which comes with a bigger battery and at the same time with fast charging which is absolutely ok.

Pricing

The basic version starts at $187 for the 4 + 128 GB version, while the higher 6 + 256 GB version will be sold for only $266.

The Pro version is impressive and will undoubtedly sell well, starting at just $281. Do you want faster shipping? You can buy the Pro Plus for $312.

The Redmi Note 11 series is currently only available in China at the time of this writing, but it is only a matter of time until these phones are launched in global markets later.
