Read this carefully if you want to buy Xiaomi Mi 11

Xiaomi Mi 11 was revealed for the first time as the first phone to feature the flagship Snapdragon 888 processor that was launched last month. The phone offers tremendous value for the money you will pay for it, as it comes with a 2K-quality screen with the fastest Snapdragon processor on the market at the moment. You can also have two different versions on the device, with different design materials, one with a leather back and the other with a traditional glass back.

However, due to it being the first Snapdragon 888 processor smartphone on the market, there were bound to be some small bugs and issues with the device. Surprisingly, these errors were more than we had imagined which is why we decided to write that article in order to give you a comprehensive picture of the Mi 11.

Note that Xiaomi can solve most of these problems that hinder the user's experience through software updates, which is what we expect to happen in the coming period, as we expect the phone to get many updates that will make the phone more disciplined.

However, if you are currently buying the phone or have a friend about to buy it, you will have to live with some gaps and problems in the usage experience.

Phone problems

  • Mi 11 shuts down randomly on its own during use
  • The camera app sometimes crashes while taking photos
  • Some games do not load properly which is strange since the phone comes with the most powerful Android processor at the moment
  • The phone overheats quickly and Mi 11 is unable to take full advantage of the processor because it heats up quickly
  • Camera performance is average and definitely not the best in this price category
  • In the leather version, the back vibrates somewhat when any sound from the external speakers

These were some of the issues we found with the Mi 11. Being a flagship phone, everyone would certainly expect the phone to have perfect performance. But this is not the case here.

However, we want to emphasize that most of these issues can be resolved with a software update in the near future. In a month or two from now, Mi 11 will likely offer the perfect user experience like any other leading phone on the market.

So if you are okay with these problems, you can go ahead and buy the Xiaomi Mi 11. As mentioned before, the phone has a lot to offer for its price.

But personally, if you want to get a Xiaomi flagship at the moment, you should go to Mi 10 Ultra without any hesitation, as it is a flagship phone that delivers excellent performance without any small issues or hitches.
