New leaks reveal a big change in the design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

While there are many news circulating at the present time that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 won't come with a dedicated space for docking the S-Pen, but there will obviously be a significant and controversial change to the device's aspect ratio.

This is according to Samsung leaks specialist Ice Universe, who tweeted an illustration of what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to look like compared to the previous phone. He explained: The Fold 3's internal screen ratio is 5:4, and Fold 4 will be closer to square.

While the source confirms that all these allegations are still being studied, you can immediately see the difference in the image in the tweet, as the screen appears shorter and wider.

The pros of this are that when the Fold 4 is folded, you will feel as if it is a completely normal phone, in contrast, the Fold 3 offers an unusual aspect ratio when folded at 24.5:9 and it appears that the phone is long and thin.

This change in design will bring the aspect ratio of the expected phone closer to 18:9, which is certainly familiar to everyone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specs

In the end, we're sure Samsung knows what it's doing, and we think the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be thinner and lighter, which is clearly a positive. But in return, it also means that we're not likely to get any major upgrades in terms of battery life.

An informed source revealed that the upcoming Samsung foldable phone will come with a battery capacity very close to the previous version. Where it is expected that we will have a battery divided into two cells, the first with a capacity of 2002 mAh and the second with a capacity of 2268 mAh and thus we will have a total battery with a capacity of 4270 mAh.

This battery will actually be less than its counterpart in Z Fold 3 which has a capacity of 4400 mAh, but Samsung may resort to a clever trick when launching the phone in order to reassure customers that the two phones have the same battery capacity.

We are still a bit far from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, but we fully believe that Samsung will make a significant price reduction in order to enhance the reliability of foldable phones and encourage more potential buyers to make their purchase decision.

This was all the information available at the moment about the upcoming Samsung foldable phone. As we gradually approach the launch date, which is expected to be in August, a lot of information and leaks will certainly appear, and in return, we will not hesitate to inform you about them so that you are in the center of the action.
