Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra: The New King of Android Phones

The Samsung S21 Ultra has a lot to offer compared to other phones in the series, with a Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for the smaller version.

We have a 5000 mAh battery, and most importantly, S Pen support. The Samsung Pen will be sold separately and can be placed in dedicated cases, there is no possibility to expand the internal storage space, as in the series Galaxy Note 20.

Other than that, the 6.8-inch AMOLED screen is the only one out of all the series phones that comes with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels that can run simultaneously along with a refresh rate of 120 Hz making it the first phone of its kind compared to previous Samsung flagships which Previously it had to choose between the highest resolution or the refresh rate.

But the most powerful phone in the series also comes with another feature that sets it apart from its siblings: it has two telephoto sensors in the rear camera, with support for true optical zoom up to 3x optical and 10x respectively, which combine together for more stable shots while zooming in.

The other rear cameras include a 108MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, while the front camera comes with a 40MP resolution – each of the phone's camera can capture 8K video at 60fps.

Samsung draws the roadmap for the future

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series was launched a month earlier than usual, as Samsung's flagship phones are usually revealed at the time of the annual MWC conference in late February. But due to the postponement of MWC 2021 until the end of next June, if not later, it was necessary for Samsung to have the necessary freedom to launch its flagship phones early and set the path for 2021.

The Samsung S21 range may set the bar for this year, particularly in price: any phone at a higher price will get a little harsh reaction by comparison. It is not the first phone to drop in price from the previous year; Google Pixel 5 It was launched at a significantly cheaper price than the Pixel 4, and although some of the features in the phone have been reduced, the move has been admired by everyone.

We'll have to see how this year's other flagships will pivot in their strategies in order to equal or outperform the more affordable Samsung Galaxy S21 series flagships.
