Disclosure of new details regarding the Samsung Galaxy S21 series

It looks like Samsung is gearing up for the upcoming flagship smartphones in the Galaxy S series. We recently witnessed the launch of the Galaxy Note20 series and now all eyes are on... Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Amidst many leaks about upcoming smartphones, we have now discovered the first reference for the Galaxy S21 andGalaxy S21 Plus In the form of a 3C certificate. Note that this 3C certification is not for the device but its battery.

On the 3C certification website, we can see that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is listed first with model number EB-BG996ABY SM-G996 and the regular Galaxy S21 is spotted with model number EB-BG991ABY SM-G991.

We can tell that these battery models belong to the SM-G991 and SM-G996 smartphone model numbers namely Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus. So the 3C certification document confirms that the Galaxy S21 will come with a 3,880mAh battery and the Galaxy S21 Plus will pack a 4,660mAh battery.

Notably, both batteries are not manufactured by Samsung, and the listing indicates that the batteries will be from Ningde Amperex Technology Limited. It is a famous battery manufacturer based in China.

Previous leaks indicate that the Galaxy S series will have three variants including the regular model along with the Plus and Ultra variants. The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is codenamed “Unbound” with variants M1, N2, and O3. Reports also claimed that the O3 will be Galaxy S21 UltraIt will come with the S Pen.
