Samsung is working at the moment to launch a new phone in the coming period, which is Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The device was detected on several certification sites with the model number SM-G990B. The latest leaked images of the phone reveal the design and some key specifications.
The images show that the design of the upcoming Samsung smartphone will be similar to Galaxy S21 Plus. While the design of the camera unit is the same as that of the Galaxy S21, however, it does have some slight differences. On the front, the phone has a 6.5-inch Infinity-O flat display. According to the leaked photos of the phone, the device will have a glass or plastic back, or what Samsung calls polycarbonate, next to a metal frame surrounding the display.
The back of the phone contains a triple rear camera unit, which is very similar to the most prominent flagship Galaxy phones, as it stands out clearly while the LED flash is located outside the camera unit, strangely.
The details of these three sensors have not yet been revealed, however, we expect the 12MP primary camera alongside an ultra-wide lens with the same resolution as well, as for the third camera, an 8MP telephoto lens that supports up to 2x optical zoom.
The display will come from a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED model, which has a slightly thick edge and a hole in the top center of the screen that houses the front camera inside. The screen is expected to come with support for a refresh rate of 120Hz.
According to a previous report, the device will be running Android 11 operating system based on One UI 3.0 user interface. The phone will definitely support 5G networks and will come with 8 or 12 GB RAM, along with 128 or 256 GB of internal storage space. It will be launched in gray or silver, pink, purple and white color options.
The device is scheduled to be launched during the second half of 2021, as it is expected to achieve large sales in the market just as the Galaxy S20 FE.
