Samsung unveils Galaxy M32 that will turn the mid-range upside down

Samsung announced a new phone today in the mid-range category, which is Samsung Galaxy M32, it comes with some significant upgrades compared to the Galaxy M31s that was unveiled last year. The new phone packs many advantages, most notably an AMOLED screen, a new, stronger processor, and a modern design. Here's everything you need to know about Samsung's latest budget-friendly phone.

Samsung Galaxy M32 Specs

Samsung Galaxy M32 features a contemporary design, with a square camera module in the upper left corner and an Infinity-U display. While I certainly don't like Samsung's decision to return to the Infinity-U display, we do appreciate the fact that it now comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. The 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display on this phone is slightly smaller than last year's model. However, it now offers a better peak brightness of 800 nits, compared to the 420 nits that in M31s.

On the inside, the Galaxy M32 packs a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, which works in tandem with an ARM Mali G52 GPU. Regarding the internal configuration, we have 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage.

In terms of photography, the phone packs a 64MP primary camera, which is hard to get on a phone in this price category. We have an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, the phone features a 20MP selfie camera.

The phone comes with a giant 6000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, but unfortunately the phone comes with a 15W charger only in the box, so you will have to purchase a 25W fast charger separately.

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy M32 features a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. It even has a fingerprint sensor installed on the power button. For the software, the Galaxy M32 runs on the OneUI 3.1 user interface based on the pre-installed Android 11 operating system.

Phone price

The new Samsung phone comes at an affordable price of 200 for the 4 + 64 GB version, while the 6 + 128 GB version was priced at $230. The phone will be officially launched in the Indian markets on June 28, with a date set for its launch in the global markets later.
