Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G camera achieves mixed results in DxOMark test

The Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G has just passed the DxOMark camera test. The device scored the highest against all Reno smartphones tested by DxOMark so far, with an overall score of 104.

As for the phone's camera specifications, Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G It comes with a 48-megapixel primary camera, the second camera is a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor and supports real optical zoom up to x2, and there is a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

According to the tests conducted on the device's camera, the best phone in the upper middle class in China achieved amazing results of 109 points for photography, 60 points for zoom, and also achieved 101 points for video shooting.

In terms of shooting first, DxOMark tests found that the device offers a fairly wide dynamic range in indoor shots, while also providing good detail. The camera's autofocus was also accurate for the most part of the photos tested, and details were also consistent and clear in bright lighting conditions.

Tests also indicated a good balance of isolation and detail in the image in Portrait mode. Although the company also noted lower exposure in low light.

For video shooting, DxOMark praised the phone's accurate white balance while recording video. The video also retains high detail on the faces, with effective stabilization when standing still.

However, DxOMark found high noise in videos in general, which also suffered from limited dynamic range. There was also a noticeable shift in sharpness between video frames. Overall, the device had a not so stable imaging performance, with its strengths leaning more towards videography.
