Leaks on Twitter revealed the main specifications of the upcoming upcoming phone, which is OnePlus Ace 2, that details that there will be a change in the chipset and a slight modification regarding the primary rear camera.

OnePlus Ace 2 Specs

According to the leak, OnePlus is expected to launch the Ace 2 with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The phone may also come with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For video calls and selfies, the Ace 2 is rumored to come with a 16MP front camera.

The OnePlus Ace 2 will arrive powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset that was unveiled last year. Regarding the details of the RAM / internal storage space of the upcoming device. The phone will be launched in three different versions: 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB, along with internal storage options in only two options: 128 GB and 256 GB.

The upcoming OnePlus phone will derive its energy from a giant 5000 mAh lithium polymer battery, which will support super fast charging speeds of up to 100 watts. With regard to software, the phone will work on the ColorOS 13 user interface, which is based on the Android 13 operating system.

It is worth noting that the first version of the Ace series arrived in April of this year with the Dimensity 8100 Max chip from MediaTek, so upgrading to a powerful Snapdragon chip is definitely a welcome addition.

With regard to the screen, it seems logical that the Ace 2 comes with the same screen as the first model in terms of size, model and refresh rate because it is really good and at the same time perfectly suitable for all mid-range phones.

As for the battery, the OnePlus Ace packs a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support that can charge the phone from 0 to 50% within 5 minutes of plugging it in. In comparison, the Ace 2 could see its battery increase in size, but the charging capacity may decrease slightly compared to the first Ace phone.
