October 14 set the launch date for OnePlus 8T

OnePlus has been releasing two flagship smartphone series over the past four years. This year will be no different but unlike last year, there is said to be no Pro model in the T series. This means that the Chinese company will be launching OnePlus 8T Only this time which is more correct almost certain according to many sources. Now, the launch date of the phone has been revealed as well.

OnePlus 8T specifications

The OnePlus 8T is expected to be launched in two different versions: 8 + 128 GB and 12 + 256 GB.

The phone can also come with a 6.55-inch screen with a resolution of Full HD + and the refresh rate will be increased by 90 Hz in OnePlus 8 to 120 Hz.

The rear cameras are clearly visible and seem to come in the form of a rectangular unit. The phone is expected to include a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

This part is a bit confusing, as a recent report indicates that the next phone in the Nord series, N10 5GIt will have a 64MP primary sensor. It's hard to believe that a mid-range phone will have a higher main camera than a flagship phone.

The OnePlus Camera app had already hinted that the company would equip at least one of its upcoming phones with a 64MP sensor. We'll have to wait to see if that sensor is for OnePlus 8T Pro or not.

There are also reports that the OnePlus 8T will have a 32MP front camera, which is a notable upgrade, given that the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro They come with a 16MP front camera.

The 8T will come with a 4,500mAh battery with super fast charging support of up to 65W. This is a notable upgrade given that current flagships offer 30W fast charging.

The phone will likely run on Android 11 operating system with OxygenOS 11 user interface.

Phone launch date

The information regarding the upcoming launch date of the phone comes from a reliable source within the company who told us that the phone will be launched on October 14 worldwide if there is no delay that can occur due to the repercussions of the Corona virus.

In any case, even if the phone launches in mid-October, it probably won't be available in all launch regions until late that month or early November. Because that's the case with all three phones the company launched this year.
