Leaked images of Samsung's first pop-up front camera phone

While Samsung is not the type of company that shy away from adopting new designs or even adopting a new fashion that later becomes the industry standard, there are still a few designs that it has skipped. One example that comes to mind is the pop-up front camera design. However, that should change soon as leaks reveal that Samsung is currently working on developing its first phone with a pop-up selfie camera.

Samsung's upcoming phone, whose name is not known, is likely to be an affordable mid-range device based on its design.

The phone will have a flat screen and the screen size is said to be around 6.5 inches with a medium sized bottom bezel. The back will be curved and is home to three cameras present with LED flash and a fingerprint sensor installed at the back.

At the bottom of the phone is a USB Type-C port flanked on one side by the speakers, and a loudspeaker on the other. Surprisingly, Samsung has not put an audio jack on the device but there appears to be an infrared blaster on the top of the phone.

The pop-up front camera doesn't have any fancy extras or even an LED flash as we've seen from some other manufacturers.

It is not known if the phone will be a 5G device or it will be a 4G phone. However, there is nothing stopping Samsung from releasing the phone with support for both networks.
